I have been looking for alternatives to cane and rattan, and came up with this budget friendly DIY as a great way to add texture to a piece of furniture! The flat front drawers of this piece made it a great option to try out my new idea on. I picked up some outdoor fabric with a texture I liked from my local Hobby Lobby, as well as a bottle of Mod Podge and love the end result!
