CUGH2021 Satellite: Bridging Gaps and Empowering Global Communities in the Surgical Ecosystem Part 2

Satellite Organizer: Association for Academic Global Surgery, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Global Health Collaborative, Johns Hopkins University Medicine, the Sadanah Trauma and Surgical Initiative and the University of Utah Center for Global Surgery

Surgical ecosystems involve a dynamic interplay of a multitude of multispeciality and multidisciplinary stakeholders who impact the relationship of patients and their health. In the first of the two half day sessions, we examine the role of these stakeholders and the value of a surgical ecosystem. On day two, we look back at the roots of Global Surgery and how far we have come, to see the milestones achieved and the gaps remaining to be bridged.

Please join us for panels, breakouts, and networking with colleagues from across the globe.
