Finally we have liftoff for the creation of Philsa, the Philippine Space Agency.
The law creating Philsa was signed Thursday last week by President Duterte. It capped a nearly three year countdown during which filipino scientists successfully built three micro satellites that are now orbiting the earth. Diwata-1, Diwata-2 and Maya-1 were built under a Philippine government program that is now called Space Technology and Applications Mastery Innovation and Advancement or Stamina-4-space.
