In case of emergency, a Filipino national may apply for a Travel Document (TD) at the Consulate to be used in going back to the Philippines, in case of an expired Philippine passport or in lieu of a lost Philippine passport.
Please note that the Travel Document is issued by the Consulate General only for emergency reasons such as death or serious illness of an immediate member of the family, deportation cases, and repatriation. An applicant needs to submit proof of urgency.
Due to the corona virus, you can only apply for an emergency document at an embassy or consulate-general in case of an absolute emergency: your travel document has expired and you must travel immediately for medical or humanitarian reasons.
Here’s some Philippine Consulate where you can apply this travel document:
Philippine Consulate of New York:
Philippine Consulate of Los Angeles:
Philippine Consulate of San Francisco:
You can check other Philippine Consulate also for this kind of application under your jurisdiction.
